Fluoroscopy is a technique used to study moving body structures, almost like an X-ray movie. An x-ray beam is continuously sent through the area to be viewed and then this image is sent to a monitor that can be viewed in “live” time. This technique is most often utilized with tracheal stent placement and swallow studies.
